Golf putting aid company Not A Hole today announces an official name change. The company now progresses into its fourth year as Putt Anywhere. With steadily growing popularity of its products, the transition reflects a broader market reach and streamlining of the brand identity.
Putt Anywhere launched in 2018. The main objective of the uniquely designed golf putting aids is to create the illusion of a real golf hole in any setting. The design is equally functional indoors or outdoors – bare floor, carpet, concrete, lawn or official putting green, etc. The targets are to be used at distances from 2-3 feet, 4-5 feet, and 6+ feet away.
“As we embrace our ever-growing market reach, we simply feel it’s important to state more simply and clearly what we do and why we do it,” explains Founder, Sean Halpin. “Plus, we’ve heard time and again from our fans and customers that they enjoy being able to ‘putt anywhere’ with our products. The products themselves are not changing. We launched with ideal quality and a solid mission. Evolving the name is simply the appropriate thing to do.” Packaging of existing products will retain the Not A Hole branding. Future products will reflect the name change.
The timing is ideal, as the company plans to attend the PGA Show in Orlando, FL later this month. During their initial presence in 2018, the Director of the Eastern Kentucky University PGA Program, after attending for 25 years, called the golf putting aid “one of the best, if not THE best,” she had ever seen.
Halpin brings decades of design experience to Putt Anywhere. At the company’s launch, he was Manager of the Ford 2020 Mustang body design team and understood what the products would require for the desired results. The lip is made from soft but durable Urethane, the same product in car steering wheels. The ramp is automotive grade ABS, a common thermoplastic polymer. The unique design rewards putts for both pace and accuracy.
“I look forward to seeing what 2022 and beyond holds for Putt Anywhere and reaching more of the golfers at every level whose skills we can help build,” says Halpin. “I’m confident that refined branding for our golf putting aids will be beneficial for all.”
